My favorite things about the program are
the different techniques of law enforcement we are taught and when we learn and practice real life, worse-case scenarios.
I joined this post because I was interested in working in the law enforcement field and now that I’ve been in it for
a while I am convinced this is the career path for me. I'm looking into becoming a police officer with the Monroe Police Department
for a few years to gain experience then either become a Detective in the Criminal Investigations Bureau or join the FBI.

I joined the Explorers to learn more about becoming a police officer. Being an Explorer has given
me a chance to see into the everyday life of a police officer on duty. My favorite thing about being an Explorer is being
able to work side by side with the Officers of Monroe Police Department. I want to continue with Monroe Police Department
Explorers until I can become an Officer myself.
