2006 First Place Team!!!

Survival Weekend consists of competitive events for Explorers all around the state from different police departments. Some events include: Felony Vehicle Stops, Sit Ups in a minute, Push Ups in a minute, Volleyball, Tug-A-War, Piggy Back Races, and the Three-Mile Cross Country Run. First place through third place are awarded with medals and the other positions are mailed certificates.

Survival Weekend is usually held at the B.S.A. Camp Bud Schiele in Rutherford County, N.C. This year the event will be held at the B.S.A. Camp Grimes. This event occurs during the last weekend of October. Explorers usually camp out in tents or in cabins.

2003- Third Place Overall
2004- Second Place Overall
2005- Second Place Overall
2006- First Place Overall
2007- Second Place Overall (But we fought hard!)
