Every year the North Carolina Association
of Law Enforcement Explorers (N.C.A.L.E.E.) sponsors a “Mini Police Academy”,
where the explorers can go and learn what it is like to become a police officer. The Academy is a week long event held at
the North Carolina Justice Academy in
Salemburg, North Carolina. The Academy takes place during
the end of June, where the explorers attend training classes, physical fitness, drill ceremony, and practical scenarios. The
Academy strives on teaching “Teamwork & Discipline” as a way to better themselves. So the motto of the academy
is:
TEAMWORK AND DISCIPLINE
BE GOOD OR BE GONE
